Post to social media from Zapier.

Create an API key, add one Webhooks step to your Zap, and every run creates a post that waits for your approval — so an automation never publishes something you did not read.

Add xpost to Zapier

Your first post is free. No credit card.

In the chat

The Zap drafts. You approve.

Your Zap creates the post in your approval queue. Nothing goes out until you approve it — then each account gets its own receipt.

Set up xpost in Zapier

Three steps, about two minutes. No keys to copy for the chat clients: you sign in once.

  1. 1

    Create an API key

In xpost open Settings → API keys and create a key. Give it a name, so you can see what it did.

  2. 2

    Add a Webhooks step

In your Zap add Webhooks by Zapier → Custom Request, set the address from the API reference, and put the key in the Authorization header.

  3. 3

    Send the post

Send the text, the accounts and the time. The post lands in your approval queue; approve it and it goes out.

What you can do with Zapier

Do everything you can do in xpost, just by asking. Your approval and brand rules still apply.

Post from any trigger

A new row, a new sale, a new article — anything Zapier can watch can become a post.

Add pictures and video

Send a web address for a picture or a clip and it goes with the post.

Check your brand rules first

Call the check before you create, and stop the Zap on a rule it breaks.

Read the receipts

Read where a post landed, account by account, with the links — and send it on to Slack or a sheet.

Post many at once

Send a list and every post is created in one call, each waiting for your approval.

Nothing publishes without you

Every post Zapier creates waits for your approval. Nothing goes live until you approve it.

The same connector, the same approval, the same receipts in every one of them.

Questions people ask

  • Yes. One Webhooks step against the xpost API creates the post for your Instagram account. You approve it in your queue and it is published at the time you set.
